You lot are milking this one

Drove over the top lock today which had been filled up at 13.30hrs, five men in BLUE - I asume waterboard men not the fuzz - were gathered around the operating mechanism for the top lock earnestly discussing I know not what. Hopefully normal service will be resumed ASAP.

It would appear that the deep water would lie on a track from Morecambe lake heading for Jenny Brown...

I think the couple with Dave are his friends from Bolton-le-Sands, Michael Edwards and partner. They have taken over ownership of Dave's canal boat 'Lady of Man' so I understand.

Looks like they were in the Packet Boat pub in the village.

Hoping to meet up at Piel Island with the rest on Saturday.

Columbus is in Troon, having been as far west as Inishtrahull off Malin. Hoping to get back Monday 25th to give it another go.
Probably look in at Stranraer on the way home and suss it out.
