Jeff Ashford, the Skipper of the 'Quetzal'

We had this message last night via the web site:

A memorial seat was washed up on Fouley Island (Barrow).. a plaque on it was to Jeff Ashford Skipper of the 'Quetzal' ..who or what's it...a Yacht/Trawler ? if possible I would like to return the plaque..)

I think Jeff was a member of Fleetwood Harbour Yacht Club.
