Cruise to Haverigg 21st June

Unread post by Lopud »

Norman is proposing to sail to Haverigg on June 21st. Plan is to sail to Piel on 21st, then on 22nd to Haverigg, 23rd back to Piel and return to Glasson 24th. We dont think it will be suitable for fins (though there is a wall to dry on at Haverigg)

I have never sailed there, but went in the car.

I think you can only arrive / depart at the top of a good tide and there is very little room in the "Harbour" , but very interesting experience, I should think.

Apologies but Little Hog can not make it, I have to work???

It would be great to see a report after, especially about navigation and mooring issues at Haverigg, it is one off those places on my list of places to visit with Little Hog.

Enjoy and wish you fair weather.
