Lifeboats benefit from your stuff you no longer need

Post by chrisb »

We are having our annual Brew for the Crew (Lifeboat crews that is) on Sat 20th May.

Whilst the tea and cakes goes down a treat, we usually make just as much money in support of the Lifeboats from the sale of Bric a Brac.

Chris G is willing to organise this again, so please start collecting your unused stuff rather than taking it to the charity shop. Nearer the time it can be left in the pool room suitably boxed or labelled, so we don't go and sell someone's prize possessions by mistake. If you have a particular price in mind for an item then label it

A couple of people have told me that they took this to mean brand new "stuff".
Not so. I meant "stuff" that you no longer use.
Sorry for the confusion.
We expect a deluge of stuff now!
