This is a 'heads up' that Ocean Phoenix will be off to Oban this summer for a circa 2 week cruise. Departure Glasson is scheduled for July 16th with a crack delivery crew......
A more civilised sail will commence around 23rd July from Oban when self, Jane and Karen plan to arrive by rail. We're not claiming this to be the GSC family cruise but all GSC boats are welcome to meet up with us for all or part of the tour. This will probably involve a trip N-S down the Crinnan canal into the Clyde and Kyles area to arrive Ardrossen ? around 4 August - if people don't want to go round the Mull of Kintyre.
Ocean Phoenix will then transit home for 12th August with another crew.
I know some GSC boats are thinking of a Wales trip this year as their main cruise. Please let people know dates etc via the forum, so that anybody wishing to can benefit from a shared crossing.
The Mersey River festival, Conwy fest, Round the IoM races and, oh yes Piel, also beckon.....
Let's use the forum to give early notice of any plans to attend.
