Social Get Together - Sat 30th April - Calling New Members

Most of you will have seen that there's a work party planned for Saturday 30th April (which is also a Bank Holiday weekend) and we thought that, as it's the start of a new season, it would be nice to have a social evening afterwards. Nothing formal - just a get together, but maybe a nice opportunity for those people who have recently joined the Club to get to know some of the rest of the membership - maybe there'll be some pool, maybe there'll be some music, if people bring instruments with them - maybe some games - what happens will depend very much on who's about and how exhausted everyone is after the work party! Let's hope the weather this summer is kinder to us than it was last year.

We had a good very turnout for the work party especially considering the weather, we got the remainder of the Sea wall raked out and pointed under the club house, the club house windows cleaned, Pete Hoskins bench repaired, some strimming done and a few other things as well I am sure.
A pie & pea dinner and refreshments were provided by our team of caterers.
