GENTLEMAN GILES

Unread post by ivanocean »

Yes, undoubtedly we have lost a dear friend, a true gentleman, a man of good standards !

You will forever, be remembered. Well mannered, always the friendly greeting, accompanied by your cheerfull smile,
an inspirational enthusiasm for sailing, within our fleet.

A true sportsman !

Yes Giles, you will be greatly missed by us all.

Rest in peace my friend.

Ivan, you are so right. Giles was all those things and more. His loss was so sudden and tragic I couldn't think of words to say. Giles was a man I admired, always helpful, willing to share his knowledge. I'd like his family to know I am thinking of them - as are many, many more.

The large number of mourners at Giles' funeral is a great testament to the man he was. He will be sadly missed.
