Glasson Bore

Unread post by jstoppy »

I was looking through some photo's which showed a tidal bore at GSC.

I note there is a 10m tide on the 9th March, what are the chances???? and if good what are the times ie is two hours before high tide the same as for the Arnside Bore.

I am looking to Surf the bore in a short kayak.

Many Thanks

I reckon the tide generally arrives about 2 hours 40 minutes before HW liverpool, wind direction can advance or delay it
