We don't have enough racers at present to staff the OOD box and rescue boat, i.e. there's only two or three boats racing at the moment.
It is important that we try to keep racing going.
Martin Topping is constructing a gadget to switch the lights on and start the race using timer switches.
We need some system to convert the switch signal to the 12 volt horn. Ian Hutchinson has volunteered to help with this but he's busy at the moment.
To record the race do you think we could rig up a CCTV system in the OOD box to record the boats as they sail over the finish line? On TV police programmes they show the time to the second which would be ideal for us.
