It is the Lancaster Unlocked Festival of Childhood this weekend. Here at Lancaster Maritime we are focussing on Vikings. Come and meet Linden and Kraki in our Viking settlement. Discover skills for defence and examine Viking weaponry. Or try your hand at domestic Viking life learning how to weave, make cord and braid and grind your own flour. For creative types you can even try designing your own shield pattern. You can also see our ship model of a Viking longboat.

So the race scheduled for Sunday could be run on Saturday?

hi all
there is the millenium bridge race for dinghys this sunday at 1200 i was planning on going to peil but the wether is looking a bit grim so i have decided to sail the dinghy insted. so i will organise the race if any one is intrested please let me know.or stick a reply on the forum
