Just a warning that thieves are about. Some time last week Tony Wood (brother) had an almost new outboard stolen from inside his boat, cable and knifes...there may be more and will only come to light later.

Yes, my boarding ladder was down but nothing else was amiss.
I will padlock my boarding ladder up in future, my wooden ladder is already locked.
Please lock up your ladders as well, it will make it more difficult for anyone to get aboard boats.
I noticed there is one by the old blue tractor. That could do with hiding.

Could some one do me a favor and just cheach that nothing has gone missing on Little Hog, there sould be an outboard out but not much elce it is locked up tho. I am not going to be able to get up for the next 2 weeks as i am on hol, will try to get up tomoz if i can and take the out board away, will let u all no. Thanks all

It would be around that time as Tony was up the Saturday before and I think on the following Saturday he noticed the theft.
Also on the 27th he noticed that a prop had been taken of an outboard close to our boats...not sure of the boats name, also two large wheel rims had gone. He walked up the grass track at the top end of the park and saw the rims and prop, he brought the prop back and handed it in at the club house, he left the rims just to see if anyone would try and remove their partial theft....he watched as he worked on his boat, then went for some dinner in the town, half an hour later returned and went to see if they were still there.........guess what............gone!!!!!! So some one had a view of the scene and took advantage of the dinner time break......fool be him...have you seen the size of my brother...best he did not catch him.
It could well be a villager, I hope not as it could be an ongoing problem until they are caught....sad old world!
