A few years ago Colin borrowed a digital projector and members brought along a few photographs each on memory sticks. Needs to be fairly dark though, perhaps members could think of photos to take this summer for an autumn evening?

I don't know if you are aware that part of the work Alan and I will be doing to upgrade the cameras for race recording and security will be a big 22" monitor mounted on the wall of the snug.

This will be run from the snug computer via an SVGA splitter to show the same picture on both screens.

Also, we have a couple of big old monitors which could be put on the tables with a long lead and further splitters. - Not as good as a projector, but little or no expense involved.

cheers, David

Whilst not quite a social evening. I am led to believe the club use to go a sand bank in Morecombe bay and have a picnic, what the chances of organising this??

Whilst not quite a picnic, I was going to organise a trip out before the cruising season starts in dinghies at low water to have a look at the sandbanks.

Count me in

I'll help out if I am available.

I thought it would a be a great adventure and it would be very starnge to be picnicing in the middle of the sea!!! This could involve all in the club who take to water if it is strategically planned. I am sure we can tap some local knowledge of the running tide v sandbank height. Once again happy to help and be actively involved.
