Hound Dog-Where have we been? Are you sailing in September?

Just an update as we are missing you all and our Hound Dog.

We are still around but are finding it extremely difficult to manage getting across with Debbie's new role as a nurse, shift working with many weekends included, as she is new to role and needs to make a positive impression ete etc etc. What a nightmare and should only be a few years before she gains the seniority to influence.

Whilst Debbie has been working I have begun restoration of a VW (1972) Campervan, better known as a Bay Window. The body/chassis are welded and filled, New recon engine fitted and working, next paint, followed by interior. Finally making her road legal. Hope to bring her in full glory to club in early summer.

This year we are to service Hound Dog, replace the batteries, oil the exterior wood, finish our interior and finish the great work St Andrews skipper as done for her rudder. Therefore the only sailing plans in the diary is 25th September when we have booked a weeks holiday and we would welcome any other who wishes to join us with their own vessel for a weeks cruise. We would love to sail to IOM. Please let me know if your interested in joining us, safety in numbers and all that for us.
