Many thanks to JR (Lopud) for organising us throughout the cruise albeit whilst having his own serious difficulties. After leaving Quoile River Florence found a mooring close to the NT house Castle Ward, opposite Portaferry. The house was worth a visit particularly on a wet day! We left the mooring a little before local low water and sailed to Peel. Left Peel at low water for Douglas via Calf Sound with favourable current all the way! On Friday 8th August we sailed for Glasson with a favourable North Westerly and met up with Fleetwind in the Dock. John, my crew and I enjoyed the cruise immensely and thank JR again for his sterling organisation.
