The Union Jack at the Club has been flying at half mast in respect for Terry Dearpark who died last week.

We have not seen much of him recently because he lives in the North East and he has been struggling with cancer.

He was a great character, and whilst he was not with us long at the club, we enjoyed his company enormously when he was there and he gave us some great laughs. He soon earned the nickname "Chaos"

He was a tremendously generous man with what little he had.

Terry sailed round the Britsh Isles with his wife and little dog (Not called Lucky! ) in a big steel boat ( I forget its name ) and Glasson was its last port of call before it was hauled out and laid up.

I believe it was shipped back to the North East where it is being restored
