Preston in the good ol' days

I spent most of my money on Booze, Women and Boats. The rest I wasted.

Slightly more seriously. It must be 20 years ago that we sat at Pier head (Liverpool) watching a RO RO ferry dock at Birkenhead. It quietly reversed up to the ramp without using the monitoring tug. As soon as it had dropped it's ramp little yellow tractors were moving the trailers up to the top. By the time we had finished our coffee several trailers had been hooked up to their road going tractors and had headed out to the M53.
