Dave must be a popular name, the club has at least 6 that I know of, 3 on the committee and one that does the electrical work. Can anyone writing emails or minutes etc now add their surname as on odd occasions you are guessing which one is mentioned.

Twas always thus. Early in my membership Derek (Heath) said to me, "if you don't know their name, call them Dave, you'll probably be right!

I suppose you heard of the family that had so many kids they ran out of names so they said any more and we'll just call them the first thing we see in the yard?
