At last, our sailing holiday has begun.
Arrived in one piece at Ballycastle today after rounding Fair Head ( nothing fair about it, really!)

Nice one Chris and Dave, I bet there's a few of us here wishing we were out along side you
I spent most of my money on Booze, Women and Boats. The rest I wasted.

Hi Mick, yes we are very lucky not having many time constraints at present. We are at home for a short while whilst the boat is currently at Oban. I might make a blog post about the trip if we get weatherbound again. It just won't settle down this year.

Hi John,
From Ballycastle we sailed to Port Ellen for a couple of nights then on to craighouse on Jura but that was a very short stay because we were rolling that much in the middle of the night we got up early and motored up to Crinan to wait for a favorable tide for Oban. Then rubbish weather returned so went home for a few days.

We have probably got as far as we are going on this trip just south of Ardnamurchan point (couple of miles to the east of Tobermory)..in little Loch Droma Buidhe ( Drambui!)
.
Great day yesterday exploring round Kilchoan area and on the rocky shore under Mingary Castle.
.
Anchored today in the keyhole loch then off down the Sound of Mull again tomorrow towards Easdale near
Luing and a small boatyard.
