Preston Riversway Festival or Piel for the knighting Ceromon

This years festival will be held 4th -6th July. I have spoken to Preston Marina who are happy to give us a club discount again for the 2 weeks around the festival.
For those that haven't visited before its usually a good weekend with an impressive fireworks display in the marina on the saturday night.

Seeing as there has been no response to thie above post, would anyone be interested in going to Piel instead to watch the knighting ceromony of the new king and queen which is provisionally planned for the above weekend?

Please could you pass the following message on to all interested parties.

The crowning of the Piel landlord has been postponed indefinitely due to the extent of the building works. Once we hear more we will obviously pass it on.
I hope that you are all ok and enjoying the sailing a bit less wind would be good!!!!!!!

Dear John,

It is the intention for Rice Pudding to be there, do you know the time of the Crowning Ceromoney, our ETA at Piel should be about 1700hr, would this be in time?
