Maybe they spent 8 of the days at anchor first, there used to be huge delays outside Lagos when we were regular visitors. Then they spent 3 days to get to the Canaries, It doesn't even take 11 days to get to UK from Nigeria by frieghter.

Even so, Its amazing they survived, and it must have been flat calm all the way!
