Roa Island Sailing Club

On my last visit to Roa Island Sailing Club I picked up a deep water mooring closest to the club (Position N54 degrees 04.393’ W3 degrees 10.769’. There were two other moorings closer to the shore line which totally dried out and were on a slope (Not Recommended One was a red ball shaped buoy and the other was a yellow buoy closer to the jetty)

These mooring bouys dry out.

That's what you call a pickup strop.
Beware if you go upstream at mid tide inside from those moorings to the next dolphin, Head Scar, it's not called that for nothing. The rocky Head scar juts out, me and Stedfast found out the hard way, good job the Leisure's were built like brick dunny houses in those days
