Serendipity launched Glasson, Sat .4th Sept and set sail for Beaumaris ,where they anchored in the deep pool for the evening . On Sun they were joined by another GSC boat Kittiwake and caught the tide through the Swellies ,over the Caernarfon bar to Pilots cove for the evening ,(Llanddwyn Isle and New borough Warren is well worth a visit, perhaps Andrew may have some pics? )
Next day we caught last of the flood up to Trearddur and anchored in the very sheltered Porth Diana ( Pic attached) the weather was so warm all but one went for a swim .
Next morning as soon as we were afloat we made for Caernarfon the sea was like glass so it was all motoring
On the Weds morning Kittiwake sailed back to Conwy ,as I post this Serendipity is still cruising ,perhaps when they arrive back at Glasson they may be able to finish this cruise report ? B.j.
