Glasson Village Treasure Hunt this Saturday

Unread post by davidb »

.
Come and join friends on this Saturday (11th Sept) for a Treasure Hunt round the village during the day, and to support the volunteers who have reopened the Bar at the Club.

Yes, it's short notice, but the Bar has only just opened....also we know that the weather is reasonable on Saturday for this outdoor activity - and the evenings are drawing in if we delay.

SO...from 3pm there is £1 entry per person for the Treasure Hunt (see Chris Booth on the day for question papers), which is a social affair, usually done in groups with no time limit, apart from dusk at 8pm. So you can amble round, stop off for a meal or a drink etc. It is not a race - it is won on points, nobody is timing you. Winners take the total of entry fees. Traditionally, people usually put this into the Lifeboat, but you would be forgiven for using it to support the Bar.
