I know I've not been seen down at the club much recently- I usually pop in about once a month mid week so probably miss most folk but I made an effort to sail at the regatta. I didnt get to stay in the evenings but did manage to sail both days(just!) It was great to see so many people and guests around.
I'd like to thank all of the members who helped make the regatta happen from Patrol boat crew to bar stewards and all in between.
Personal thanks to those manning the Merlo for putting me in and a big up to David Booth -the man who can solve just about anything - whoose bung rubber glove and hammer got me afloat on Sunday. Many many thanks. Gotta love this club!

Alison I'm so glad you did that post. I would have done it myself had we not been travelling all day.
It was a lovely weekend, with so many people about and everybody enjoying being back at the Club. Thanks to all the people who helped to organise this.
