Seen at Coromandel Town quay near Auckland. I think they belong to fishing boats which trawl for oysters in the Firth of Thames

Every where is north from here unless we were to go to Stewart Island.

Sorry David, I was recently in Cochrane, Chile at 47.25 south.
You're going to have to go to Stewart Island if you want furthest south

Skipool Creek

This is the Southern hemisphere's version of skippool creek. the big difference here being the weather and the fact they only have 2 metres of tide Max. Plenty of old boats being renovated ready for use as ever. You wouldn't want to sail around most of New Zealand it's far too wild and exposed, But Nelson bay area and the bay of Islands would be idyllic.
