Not only Glasson has silting problems. The channel past the lifeboat now goes out further in the river, if you're going into the marina don't go from red in the channel to 1st red in the marina channel, wait till you get more or less at right angles to the marina before making the turn. The Knott End side is dodgy now as well. I'm awaiting the next tide tonight with a little apprehension
