I have just spoken to Capt Broadbent who has advised me that the Albert Dock will not be open to visiting yachts at this years festival. They hope to resume the river festival in 2009. The Whitehaven maritime festival scheduled for July looks like it is going ahead so we could possibly visit that, I will get more details soon.
