membership renewal

Unread post by Alison »

Hi all- its that time of year again, only for me its slightly more complicated this year.
Jamie has turned 18 and is no longer I assume, eligible for inclusion under the family membership. However he is still at school and not earning.
I seem to remember from my time on the committee that there used to be a student membership category, but this isn't listed on the form. As an additional £95 for full membership would probably mean he may not be joining this year, can someone who knows the current situation let me know if there is still a student/unwaged membership?
Cheers

Hi Alison

I have Emailed a screen shot of your query to Phil Ham, I don't know if he looks on here much.

Hello Alison
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, but we have a committee meeting on Sunday when I will bring it up. I'll get back to you on Monday.
All the best

Hello Alison
We discussed Jamie's situation at the committee meeting today and concluded that, as Jamie is in full time education, a student concessionary fee of £50 would apply. Further to this, there will be no need for Jamie to pay a new joining fee.
Perhaps you or Jamie could let me know if this is acceptable.
Kind regards
Phil
