NOTICE TO MARINERS
NO. 016 – 2015
GLASSON DOCK
Mariners be advised that following the recent floods, several River Lune buoys are missing or off station as follows:
No 7 Buoy is in the approximate position of the No 8 Buoy;
No 8 Buoy is in a position between No 5 Buoy and South Bank Buoy;
No 12 Buoy is in position but upside down (therefore no light showing);
No 14 is on the beach.
Mariners must proceed with utmost caution whilst transiting the River Lune.
These buoys will be rectified as soon as possible, when further Notices to Mariners will be issued.
