Under water obstruction on slipway

May I draw your attention to the remnants of the recent winter storm damage.

The large boulders remaining on the top of the slipway, create a hazardous obstruction when covered with water on high tides.

On Saturday May 17, after a superb session of dinghy sailing around the vicinity of the lighthouse, Jack Broadhead sustained
some nasty damage, recovering his boat, as a result of this obstruction. When the slipway is covered by a large amount of sand and mud it's impossible to see the rocks under the water.

I've asked Dave Gill if he could possibly remove the boulders with the JCB.

SAFER SAILING.

Ivan.
