Steve Speakman isn't racing and he has said he is flexible and will do what is necessary. I will take up any duty if there is a requirement.
Ivan has volunteered to be OOD on Saturday
Idris Watmough & Andy Macnab have volunteerd to do the Patrol Boat on Monday. Idris is also willing to do the Patrol Boat on Saturday and Sunday. David Booth has indcated that he will be around to do the Patrol Boat too but does that mean Plain Jane isn't racing?
Don't be shy - volunteer to help
Entries confirmed on the forum so far:
Steve Tomkinson - Misty
John Broadhead - Enterprise - Lighthouse
Ian & Barbara Sharples - GP14 - Lighthouse
Jack Broadhead - RS600 - Lighthouse
Michael Swarbrick - Mirror
Ivan Haslam - Laser
Owen Smith - Laser Radial
Chis Elleray - Mirror
Duncan Booth - Comet Zero
Anthony & Kath Barratt - YW Dayboat - no sure if they are racing as a dinghy or dayboat yet
It's my understanding that ALL boats will be under the control of the OOD - Princicpal Race Officer. If this is not the case please let me know.
All skippers should report to the OOD before the boats take to the water, i.e to state they are racing, enter the event (no fee), and to understand the course(s).
There will be briefing on Saturday for all skippers, the times will be announced later, obviously earlyish because the cruiser crews will want to be on their boats with plenty of time to get ready - please suggest a time.

Following Michael's notes on REGATTA START ON SATURDAY for cruisers intending to RACE.
Please report your entry with the RACE OFFICER, in good time, prior to your planned START.
There will obviously be numerous vessels leaving the dock at the same time, we need to avoid CONFUSION.
GOOD LUCK.
IVAN
As this is a special weekend I'm planning on starting the races at the published start time. The light/buzzer start sequence will start 5 minutes before the published time.
It's in everyones interest to report to the OOD Box prior to going afloat or before leaving the dock
A great day today, wild, very wild. I'll be racing round the buoys tomorrow and I think Duncan may be too.
Today:
Norman & Elizabeth are the winning Cruiser
Anthony & Kath the winning Dinghy
Alison & Family the winning Dayboat
Congratulations to the skipper & crew of Rice Pudding who after winning the Round the Lighthouse races both yesterday & today, were awarded two trophies.

Thank you everybody for a great Regatta - we enjoyed every bit of it. Loads of effort went into the running of it and the atmosphere was so happy.
looking forward to the pictures, we didn't take our camera, Chris says we already have too many Regatta pictures - that's the last time i listen to her!
cheers, David

Lorna, Vice Commodore, suggests that we make the Regatta a two day event in future so that all the presentations can be done on the Sunday and make the Monday into a fun sailing event.
Any ideas for the fun sailing event?
