Now a memory..

To most at Glasson this is nothing special..to me it was like a great sailing adventure...
The seventh day of the seventh month a trip to Piel with Derek (Todd) on his Westerly Nomad 'Rolean'.
A some what grey sky when we departed Glasson only to arrive to clear blue sky and clear blue water.
The sail back was perfect and I will be enjoying viewing the pictures and movies that I took that memorable day.
The only sailing I have done is on Coniston in a lysander and the coincidence is that I used to sail down to Coniston's very own Piel Island for a BBQ..
So hopefully next season when I do break away (with me on board this
time) from the Lune I look forward to all the sailing grounds that are on offer.....once past the learning curve of sea sailing...
Here is just a small snipit of what for me was a that most enjoyable day.

So thanks Derek for a great day out..
