Sea 5 Rally Results

There was a good turn out for the Sea 5 race ,with 10 sailing cruisers on the start line. (Did any one take any pics.?) The results are:

5. Rice Pudding 2hr 40m 38s Crtd. 3hr 15m 36s (820)

Aurora, not Dr Syn. You mean we wasted all that fishing time jogging about around the start line and you give us a DNS?

Oh sorry about that Mick ,Did you catch Owt. In the pub when I asked what happend to you some one said you had gone off fishing. Dave slippers has sent a nice photo of you near Sunderland pt. I will pass on . Records will be amended Aurora , Cheers john.

One bite, no fish. When we abandoned the race we were in quite deep water and I let her drift down to Danger Patch. Should have gone into shallower water for the fish.
Then the wind piped up and we had all that trouble. The lesson learnt, you can't combine both fishing & racing.
When the winds in the East, the fish bite least.
