was your picture too big for the forum Jim? the size limit is now set at 1000 x 800 pixels which is about 1.2 Mb I think. The limit is because a lot of images these days are simply HUGE

on my phone I use Lit Photo APK https://www.apksum.com/app/lit-photo/co ... n.shrinker

a neat little app which is dead easy to set up

Hi Jim,

If you are linking to an externally hosted image, they can be as big as you like:

Image

but you need to "view image" in your browser first, then use the link you get from thatbetween the [img] tags

cheers, David

That's exactly what I did David. I put the photo in Photobucket and pasted its web address into my post between the Image. It looks fine on my PC in both versions. The first version was 1.09 Mb, the second 328Kb. What's the problem ?

Hi Jim
I saw your picture when you first posted it but now it is only showing a small box with the text 'image' next to it?

Hello Pete, I get the same when I look at the post on my phone, I click on the small box to download the image but nothing happens, so I look in my download history and I see the following message: "Access to oi1162 photobucket.com was denied". It still looks fine on the PC though.

???

I'll try again using Postimage rather than Photobucket.

That is OK on my phone as well as my PC. Something funny with Photobucket?

yes, I think there is, cos there is a watermark on photobucket.

And, unlike Mick, I couldn't see either of your first twoon my android phone.

This last one, however, is great, and I can view it full screen on computer.
