I was extremely sad to learn Alex passed away recently.
Alex was one of the first members to greet me when I joined Glasson Sailing Club, some thirty years ago.My first impressions of his open frienldliness, inspirational qualities and sportsmanship, together with the other members of the dinghy fleet, convinced me I had joined the right club.
His team-spirit and leadership, maintained a great atmosphere amongst us all-------happy memories, Alex, Thank You.
