Folksong 25 JL Seagull- the pale blue long keeler near the fence.
As with so many, I had plans for this, but my work has been getting crazier the last couple of years, so I have hardly had a chance to touch her over the last one, and it's a shame. Now though, we're in the process of moving home (in the area) and I won't be able to afford the time or money now to get her any further for the foreseeable future.
She's a bit of a disaster area inside, seeing as I'd begun stripping the inside of glue/lining residue.
Most of the bits, bobs and so on- sails, etc. are in my garage, and aren't much to write home about, but I had the sails serviced when I got her (2 years ago?) in Scotland, and new standing rigging (SS/bronze) that cost about £1k (Fairlie Rigging) that's never been fitted there too. The engine, a Yanmar 1GM10 (8HP) was bought 2nd hand from Nateby Marina (Bridgehouse?) and fitted in Scotland (Fairlie Marine) and winterised- not run since then.
I am not advertising on the market as yet, but if anyone here is interested, I am open to offers- very open- really a case of cutting my losses and getting her to someone who will give her a chance.
Presently offshore, but home in May. In the meantime, you can see her in the yard as described above. Please contact me by email- mrjemmATyahooDOTcoDOTuk
All the best, Jem.
