DNF penny dimond (ran aground ) time would have been 179min but had to start engine to get off the mud

good week end alround, good to see a lot of boats out racing hope fully the wether will be as good in 2 weeks for the mbsa bay race details will be out shortly watch this space.

The C5 will be awarded at the laying up supper.

A cracking weekend for the sea 5, Most boats had a good start with the wind NW 3-4 warm and sunny. We had some early dicing just past the start line with Rice Pudding, unfortunately the young broadhead helmsman was forced onto the mud bank and had to start the engine on the now ebbing tide. Later in the race we did manage to catch up to The Other woman who was leading the mono hulls, she was going really well in 12-15 kts of wind .(see pic below) At Piel it was busy with every one outside enjoying the sunshine , lots of crews had tales to tell of some close racing or events.
