We are pleased to invite you to our Annual Conference on Monday 24 May 2010 at the Lancaster House Hotel 10am to 4pm.

This year's Conference will be as relevant and inspiring as ever... We are delighted that Chris Parry, the Chair of the new Marine Management Organisation has agreed to be the keynote speaker. Other confirmed speakers include Rosie Mathisen, Energy Opportunities Director at Britain’s Energy Coast West Cumbria, talking about new nuclear build, national grid routeing and the Duddon Barrage studies as well as Andrew Dobson of Lancaster City Council giving the "View from Here" and Graham Lymbery, Chair of the NW Coastal Group and NW Coastal Forum speaking on coastal defence and programmes and policies to help us adapt to a changing coast.

This will be a special event as we develop collaboration with the Marine Management Organisation as it takes on the role of marine planning. Also a number of offshore developments will begin construction this year and major studies are underway for others. This conference will provide a review of all the important developments around our coast, give you a chance to discuss these with developers and others.

Donations - This is an expensive event for us, and yet, we know that money is tight for everyone. We'd like to suggest registration donations as follows: £30 per person for large organisations and local authorities; £10 per person from individuals. Your donation secures your place. We request donations in advance.
