cameras

Unread post by davidb »

I have disconnected the garage cam and put the slip camera in its place for the time being, any objections?

Reason I didn't do it before was that we thought security in the yard was an issue.

So now the winch cam and the slip cam are the ones that are being recorded 24/7 and the records are kept for about 10 days

You might notice that you have to sign on now to view general discussion.

cheers, David

Hi David,

Just been checking to see if all is well with my mooring and it seems that the camera is stopping short of my mooring.
I could see it a couple of days ago... looked now and thought she had sailed off without me..hi

Just saw part of the bow, must have moved far enough forward on the receeding tide...

Wonder if there is enough movement to pan it a little further right..

Cheers in anticipation

John

The panning seems a bit unreliable, the cables cause a bit of drag, I shall have a look at it on Sat and increase the travel, that will increase the speed in the middle.

i have changed the bbcam page and the links are a bit messed, but I know how to sort it, it's gone to the wrong directory.

Thanks David. the pan is now fantastic, much appreciated.
I brought the camera up on Saturday, but could not find you.
I will bring it up next Saturday, please let me know where to leave it if you are not around.
It has a 16x zoom so may be of some use.
I am going to have a play with the rotator and then bring it up when finished..

Cheers
