Dear Members,

John's Funeral will take place at Lancaster Crematorium on Wednesday the 18th September at 11:30 followed by his Wake at Glasson Sailing Club.

Also, this is a Shout out for the loan of gazebos, please.

We are expecting a large number of people at John's Funeral and are looking to borrow gazebos to put over outside tables if the weather is inclement.

Looking forward to your help on this. We are also looking for volunteers to help Kevin on the bar, Maxine and Chris G on food set up and tea/coffee. Outside caterers will be supplying the food.

I won't be there in person at John's funeral tomorrow but I will be thinking of him, his family and many friends from GSC during the day.

I know he will be greatly missed.

There was indeed a very large turnout and it was well appreciated by John's family. The caterers and bar helpers did us proud. It feels now like the end of an era.
