Club Gate
In case anyone was thinking of going to the club now that we no longer have to 'Stay Home' I thought you should know that there is a problem with combination lock on the gate and you won't be able to get in, I thought it might save someone a wasted journey..

Mick, you're only a bus ride away. What would you be doing if you lived nearer?

Caravan off to Poland
A couple of pictures of the caravan being removed today. The cowmats were very useful to stop the wheels digging in on the soft ground.

Re: Tablet, phone charging power pack
Something else you could do to extend battery life is to use an external bluetooth GPS and connect to that via bluetooth as phone or tablet GPS uses a lot of power.

Regatta Result
It may have escaped the attention of one or two people but it was the club regatta last weekend. There were 4 dinghies sailing and 2 cruisers. Two dayboats went down to Snatchems. Ivan set an interesting course for the dinghies and a big thank you to him for the work he put in and to Brian who helpe...

Hi,
just a late request. Please can anyone in possession of a club trophy please bring it with them if they are attending the Regatta. Also a reminder that it will be a Jacobs join/ feed ourselves arrangement. A barbecue will be available for our use.

Re: Regatta
It has been pointed out to me that the cruiser start time may be ten or fifteen minutes later than the time I gave in a previous post. This is to allow time for anyone in the dock to get out and put their sails up etc.

Hi Mike,
I'll put it on the board tomorrow when I'm at the club. I could put you in on Sunday but I won't be around on Monday or Thursday. I'll ask around and get back to you.

Re: Ocean Phoenix
Two nights in Mylor. Nice place. Visited the yacht club. Very impressive. Dinghied up the river to the Pandora where we had lunch and met Brian and Judy, two of Einar's friends. We have moved round the corner to Falmouth this morning (Thursday) to the Pendennis marina. Warm and sunny. IMG_20180719_1...

Re: Ocean Phoenix
We left the Isles of Scilly at 8.40 am this morning headed for Newly (32 miles). We touched the bottom going into Newly. We didn't stay long as the only berth they could offer was unsuitable. We set off for Falmouth and on the way Einar suggested we go to Mylor harbour which is just north of Falmout...
