Dolphin watch

Hi . Last week on my trip to IOM TT I saw a large Dolphin near to the wind farm it appeared to be alone. I saw it both on my outbound and return journeys. It only surfaced briefly but there was no mistaking it was a Dolphin. Has anyone else seen it?

I have acquired a Lenovo Yoga tablet 2 (10.1") using android 4.4.2 and would like to use it for navigation. It as GPS connection so can anyone recommend any good apps. ?

Hi Roger I went to Haverigg a few years back it was very interesting. Please check your timings as I recall you can only get to moorings 2Hrs each side of HW to get round the sand bar which runs down the coast. Hi Ivan I too am looking forward to dinghy sailing this winter but this Sat wind forecast 16mph / force 4 I think will be too much for my first try singlehanded in the enterprise.

Hi Roger If you go this weekend please look out for Dolphins. Paul Tetlow and I saw a couple as we crossed Lune deeps on our return from Piel two weeks ago, did any other returning members see them?

Hi Mick I think your long oar option is a better less polluting idea, but make it at least 12 foot long so Dave can use it standing up in the stern it would be easier on his back, but just in case better order a gallon of Sloans liniment to keep on board.

Hi looking on the moorings web cam at midday it looks like 2 of the boats may have sails coming loose, can anyone a the club please check with bino's and if so let the owners know.
