Re: Sandpiper and kesbro

Crinan Basin.jpg We decided to take the northern route out of the sound of Jura through the Crinan canal. the forecast wasn't good enough for us to go round the Mull of kintyre into the Clyde. The locks are ridiculously heavy to open with just muscle power. Much bigger locks than the one between Gl...

Gigha.jpg Gigha was delightful in the sunshine, not sure what life would be like on the pontoon in today's wind and rain. Well worth a visit if rounding the Mull of Kintyre., The anchorage is well sheltered. Thanks John for adding photos, Mine are bigger that the 1000 X 800 size limits for this for...

That's funny, he must have Goldilocks genes as he tried mine, though the seat is quite small. Must be much more comfortable on the Moodies...At least it seems he may have left Brian quite a large deposit for his possible use of his facilities...

Re: Man wondering around the moorings?

Hi Brian, The Mooring cam clock shows 16.33, it could be you as I saw just a glimpse of the person between the boats but unfortunately due to the slow stream it missed him until I captured this frame, but only around 3 mins from seeing him to where he was on the picture. I did at first sighting thin...

Re: Anybody know about 'Vectored Artwork'

Hi Roger, they basically are art that can be scaled without loss of detail as against .jpgs, .bmp etc that lose definition (jagged) if scaled. most electronic charts are vector, as you zoom in the detail is still crisp. The artwork need redrawing with something like Illustrator, CorelDRAW or similar....

Hi John n David,

If I remember, it is de-powered and physically tweaked on the castle. Should be up this Saturday, I will reset the camera for the normal mooring view with panning and pausing on the mooring buoys..who will be the first out?
