Hi Roger,they basically are art that can be scaled without loss of detail as against .jpgs, .bmp etc that lose definition (jagged) if scaled. most electronic charts are vector, as you zoom in the detail is still crisp. The artwork need redrawing with something like Illustrator, CorelDRAW or similar....

Have a safe trip, if your navigation is rusty give us a wave when you go past...

Well after looking at the weather forecast I will be giving the trip to GSC a no no..If I get a chance and reasonable weather I will get up during the week..
I will be glad when this Winter is over with, a real mish mash of weather....

Hi John n David,

If I remember, it is de-powered and physically tweaked on the castle. Should be up this Saturday, I will reset the camera for the normal mooring view with panning and pausing on the mooring buoys..who will be the first out?

Yes, a cracker, wonder how much income from the advertisement sections. Could we not do something on that line to help pay for the online section of GSC....just a thought
