Just heard that Dave Burton has died, he sailed Esmerelda, a catamaran, with Dermott. They went on many family cruises and there was never a dull moment when they were around. Rest in peace, Dave.

I doubt the moorings owner will see this but we were out there today and there is a yellow/green buoy on the outer trot without a boat attached, the riser is a thick manila rope but the shackle under the buoy is almost worn through.
