Swapping over the trailers.

Looking back at my info I bought Avanti from Nationwide boat sales of Chesterfield at the end of 1994, a friend towed it to my house behind his land rover on a 27' boat trailer with a plank on it to support one of the keels, lent to us for a month as part of the deal. We modified a used water carrie...

`Hi George, that's good news.

The Fleetwood to Knott End ferry (Wyre Estuary Ferry) is currently scheduled to cease operations on 15 April 2026 because Wyre Council received no compliant tenders to continue the service after the current contract with Wyre Marine Services expires today. Despite a previous agreement securing fundi...

Well done Dave.

Mick,
A really useful addition installed at the club only to be cancelled on an imaginary privacy problem.

I wonder if you can convert it back to a bike when you arrive at your destination

Just heard that Dave Burton has died, he sailed Esmerelda, a catamaran, with Dermott. They went on many family cruises and there was never a dull moment when they were around. Rest in peace, Dave.

Thanks Dave.
It's a shame after all the work you put in to the website and sorting out the forum.

I doubt the moorings owner will see this but we were out there today and there is a yellow/green buoy on the outer trot without a boat attached, the riser is a thick manila rope but the shackle under the buoy is almost worn through. If something is not done pretty quickly the weight and buoy will be...

Hi Mick Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment. But we couldn't possibly do something like that at the club, it may offend someone's GDPR rights even though to view ours we had to be set up with a password by the admin to enable us to even view them  I don't know how ...

It makes you wonder, if the actual dock was that important to them they would have had it done well before now, probably gonna just use the walls, silver river is the only boat that gets in, then they can turn it into flats. The marina will have to dig a trench beside the bowling green I think the ...

. Hi Pete, its a pity that firm hadn't been contracted to make a proper job of the sea gate, it might still be operational if they had been involved.Bazz is good at getting to grips with a mechanical problem. They do make a good intreresting video. D . Surprisingly I commented below this video aski...

Well deserved, both of them.

Interesting video of an Avon Searider rib (same as the clubs patrol boat) going around Britain in stages, this one covers mid Wales to Piel island.
