Excellent report Michael

Awkward tide times for the weekend arent they for anything other than staying local. Was thinking of Whitehaven, but I wont be able to get out on Friday night, so possibly Piel on Saturday, and Fleetwood Sunday, back to Glasson Monday

I set an old one up at home last night to see how long it will run. Will let you know.

Doesn't sound as if there will be any Mersey River Festivals in the future

And dont forget its the Hamblin round the isle of mann race on the 13th June, with a feeder race organised on the 12th from Fleetwood organised by Blackpool and Fylde.

I thought my ears had been burning Brian Sorry. We feel the same. They would have won almost everything if Norman hadn't been so unfortunate

Brian, we are definately going Sat morning now, the forecast of wall to wall sunshine and not being able to get out of work this afternoon to lock out of the marina has forced me into this decision.

Jason, I left a message on your mobile on sunday, just going to send you an email now.

Anybody else going over to Ramsey on Saturday? Dont think I am going to be able to lock out on Thursday, and rather than get no sleep crossing over Friday night thought I may cross on Saturday instead. Weather looks better as well on Saturday.

Great story well told, but I am surprised that John and his ever ready pen knife did not have you free within seconds

John, we are hopefully arranging a special lockout on Thurs evening. Will find out over the weekend and post on here.

Well done John, you did very well to manage in a difficult situation. Bl**dy prop shafts

Good photo Dave, but your inflatable dinghy looks odd at that strange angle

Hi David,
The wind graphs look good now. Guess the software smooths the results more than the old one.

I make a great cup o tea, like a pint, jovial and got good jokes to tell. Hi Jason, you are more than welcome to join us I will be up on Lopud in the marina at weekend, so can meet you up there if you want a chat. If its anything like last year you will have plenty of new jokes to tell, or be the b...

Any remaining weavels (and everything else on board for that matter) will be easily found as we slowly move everything into the bows as the tide ebbs in Ramsey

Biscuits, no luxuries like that aboard Lopud!!!! What with Jetwinds new sail, Big John stripping Penny Diamond out and the new "wind" generator to blow Triagos through the Doldrums I might just allow a packet of Maltesers aboard.

If anybody fancies crewing on Lopud, we have a few spare bunks, loads of room on the windward rail, and a couple of places on the oars . Let me know

John

It has linked OK for me from Picasa. Right clicked on image - click on "copy image url" - then back here on the forum click the Img tab - then paste inbetween the [IMG] [/IMG} tabs.

What do you mean strange craft ? Strange crew maybe !!!!!

Martin & Sammy, eventually second overall, leading a strange craft

Michael, I have started archiving your pages they are on my iown PC at the mo, but will be loaded on to the swinranger servers when I have finished getting the new site working. I have been to busy trying to find a new car last couple of days, but will be back on with it soon. All members will be ab...

Whilst not quite a picnic, I was going to organise a trip out before the cruising season starts in dinghies at low water to have a look at the sandbanks.

Did John and Norman have anything to do with it ?
