GSC weather station

Unread post by davidb »

After the repair of the galley roof at the club the anemometer mast has been re-fitted and all is well with the weather station again.
.
The recent problem with modern Android browsers not refreshing the image regularly is probably getting worse, so I have decided that after 20 years the VWS software needs to be retired and I shall give another more recent style software called "Cumulus" a try. This is what the Fleetwood coastwatch at Rossall point have been using for quite a while and seems to fit with our requirements.

Whilst it is getting sorted you can see our current weather conditions by clicking on the wunderground link at the bottom of our weather page.

Thanks for your work on this David. Having a descriptive weather forecast online is very useful.

Good work David and appreciated although we often take it for granted.
