Depends on if they are sturdily fixed and if any swell comes through to bang it about for 10 mins. I had one on a 36' fishing boat I crewed on, it felt like it weighed a ton and was bolted to the side with 2 big through bolts and can't remember it ever causing a problem, it was moored like this all the time the boat was in a drying harbour. Only occasionally we got worrying swells come through. I've seen them on yachts as big as the L23 but they looked like they were a temporary thing for fine weather

I put beaching legs on my Dehler 25. When moored up in Ravenglas and the tide came in they skewed back. Not recommended.

Hi Norman when you used legs on the Dehler 25 did you have bracing lines fore and aft from the base of the legs?
