Good-day All,
Your committee met on Monday night and agreed the following:
Overnight stays at GSC are permitted as per England's guidelines. NB: only the Clubhouse toilets will be available for use and the usual social distancing and bio security measures for touch points are to be observed.
Tokens for electricity can be obtained by liaison with the House Officer (John Holt).
The bar will not be opening in any foreseeable timescale.
Chris Ellery has been added to the current restricted drivers list on the basis that he is local and, subject to his availability, can stand in for the lead drivers.

Re: GSC Covid-19 Update - July 7
Can I please clarify, does this mean that the showers, kitchen facilities, and bar seating area are all out of bounds to all members until further notice. Many thanks and keep safe.

Hi Janine,
.
Yes that is correct, but the situation is being constantly reviewed. Don't forget we have a lovely caravan site for members which is little used at present and a developing garden seating area next to it where Frank's caravan used to be - out of the wind! Just bring your own deck chair for now.
-
The site has metered electric points and there is a sluice for toilet waste outside on the corner of the clubhouse.
-
Pitch booking is done on this forum: viewforum.php?f=12
.
So who needs the hassle of owning a big boat? Get a dinghy!
