Ocean Phoenix
Ocean Phoenix
Einar, Stafford, Steve and Eddie (Bailey) arrived on Ocean Phoenix yesterday. Staff had lost his sleeping bag and Eddie had forgotten his underpants, so before departing for Grimsby we did some emergency shopping.
Arrived in Grimsby at 5pm, after passing the windmill fsctory (see photo) in Hull. Now enjoying a gin and tonic, waiting for Staff’s stew to cook.
Tomorrow is F5 on the nose, so we will catch the bus to Cleethorpes. 04.30 departure on Monday will allow us to catch the tide to Scarborough.

Re: Ocean Phoenix
Up at 4 am to catch the tide north. Crew could not wait to get up. Full of enthusiasm and positivity and raring to go.
At pre-dawn, Grimsby looks quite romantic, with the moonlight shining through the holes in the roofs of the derelict warehouses.

Re: Ocean Phoenix
Well done, that didn't take very long. I hope you take your time down the west coast. Plenty of anchorages available no need to rush. Cheers David
