Need help to sail my Colvic Sailer 26 to Piel or Roa and back in the same day.Have done the trip before
but prefer not to sail single-handed.Food on board or onshore provided.Car Transport to and from Glasson

I have not been there for years, but I have dried out a leisure 23 just to the Barrow side of Piel jetty. It was when the new king Steve was crowned.

There are two jetties shown on the chart one at the north-west corner and one on the east side.Can you say
which jetty you mean?The North west side jetty is shown as being Sand/Mud on the chart.The drawing on the
chart suggests that the one on the north-west side might be in poor repair.Regards Steve

Its the one below the Ship Inn on the E where our moorings are.
I don't think there is another, on the NW side is the causeway to nearby Walney south end caravan site.
